Larry Langford, Ph.D.

Larry
L. Langford is a Marriage and Family Therapist
Intern with extensive training in couples therapy.
He utilizes a Jungian-based psychodynamic approach,
with an emphasis on the importance of emotional
connection. He
also has extensive experience working with substance
users and adolescents.
He holds an M.S. in Counseling from
California State University—Fresno (2009), a B.A.
in English from the University of Texas at Austin
(1980), an M.A. in English Literature from Rice
University (1986), and a Ph.D. in English Literature
from Rice University (1988).
Before becoming a marriage and family
therapist, he taught English at California State
University—Fresno and at Fresno Pacific
University. He
is a Nationally Certified Counselor and an elected
board member of the Central San Joaquin Valley
Chapter of the California Association of Marriage
and Family Therapists.
He is a published author, including articles
on psychotherapy and English literature. |
